Middle School Ministry
Middle school is a time of major transition. And boy, those early teen years can be challenging. Our Middle School Youth Group program gives 6-8th graders a place to blow off steam, a place with no pressure, no exams, no judgment. A comfortable place where they can meet God and make some new friends.
Our weekly meetings are held on Wednesday nights, 6:30-8PM in the Youth Room at WPC. They are full of excitement and energy. The first half of each night is spent on a topic from the Bible that is relevant to middle schoolers. A lesson from the youth paster (Aaron) is followed by a group discussion. The second half of these nights can get loud with games, raffles, competitions and all out craziness.
We hold several special events each year, sometimes joining with the high school group. These fun events include Lazer Tag, bowling, snow tubing, weekend retreats, Christmas parties, Six Flags, Canobie Lake Park, and the Amazing Race.
Jesus said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35) We offer middle school students the opportunity to give of themselves through service days at places like soup kitchens, homeless shelters, at town events and church events.
